Scrap Store

Over the last month we are delighted to have forged a partnership with a new supplier from the business world…IKEA! The store in Belfast manages to reduce, reuse or recycle 95% of their waste and Play Resource is now helping them to recycle some of that last 5% by passing it on to you through the Scrap Store. All for a good cause…. keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks and months you just never know what you might find in the Scrap Store!

You can expect some weird and wonderful new items which could include anything from packaging, fabrics, end of product lines – so no there is no point trying to return any of it to IKEA….well as if you would!!! This also offers an exciting new source of fabrics to groups – it may not be on a roll but there is a great variety of colours and textures and it would not be sacrilege to cut them up for collage and textile projects….work away!

IKEA – fabrics, sofa covers, ladder shelving supports, wall mounted light box type thing!
