EXHIBITION
Clic Sargent is pleased to announce an extension of their innovative art exhibition resulting from a collaboration with Play Resource, until the end of November.
This unique art exhibition showcases work from young people affected by childhood cancer. The centrepiece is ‘Planet Cancer’, a 3D model which describes the artists’ feelings following a cancer diagnosis and their emotional journey through treatment. The exhibition will be open until the end of November. Viewings can be arranged through the Play Resource Centre on 028 9035 7540. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING FOR MEMBERS
The Play Resource AGM is taking place on Thursday 21st October at 6pm. All members are welcome to join us at this event, meet staff and board and have some refreshments.
TASTER PROJECTS
Play Resource though our Creative Paths Arts Programme is currently offering our member groups taster projects of 12 hours. We can facilitate arts projects that fit your needs, giving your group access to the skills of experienced artists.

NDCS Me2 PROJECT
NDCS is the national charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. There are 45,000 deaf children and young people in the UK with four more babies born deaf everyday.
'Is your organisation genuinely inclusive of deaf children and young people? We can help you to be meaningfully deaf friendly...
Through our work with the Football Association, the Scouts Association and other youth organisations we have developed a project called Me2 which is all about working with mainstream leisure organisation’s like yours, to help you to become inclusive of the needs of deaf children and young people. We are asking national organisations to sign up and to encourage their members, groups and clubs on a regional and local basis to also sign up to this worthwhile course.
By signing up to the pledge and committing to the principles of being deaf-friendly you will receive the following benefits:
- Free professional membership of NDCS
- Me2 Welcome pack, including resources and information on how to make your leisure activities deaf friendly
- Promotion of your organisation, group or club on our Me2 database of deaf friendly activities
- An invitation to our “Making activities deaf friendly” free training courses'
