Warning – any group who collected the ‘life raft canopy’ recently from Scrapstore please be aware that some included a safety knife attached to the inside pocket. This month saw the culmination of an exciting 6 week Creative Paths Arts Project with 6 Belfast based Special Schools who all created their own short animation film themed on 'Celebration'. An additional workshop has been added to the programme of training events for artists run by Visual Artists Ireland. The Imagination Box Workshop will be held at Play Resource on Friday 13 May . Run by artist Jim Russell, it is aimed at artists working with groups wanting to develop their creative ideas using a range of recycled materials. Belfast City Council invites you to a free workshop to help you revamp your wardrobe and restyle your home! The Waste Management team makes minimizing waste fun in a new series of workshops in local community centres – reinvent clothes, soft furnishings and furniture by learning new skills. Have fun stitching, embellishing, revamping and refashioning items at these Rethink Waste Workshops.
