Creative Paths Arts Programme

This month sees the launch of an exciting series of art summer schemes as Play Resource partners with Belfast City Council and the Titanic Foundation. The project is part of the planned celebrations for April 2012, when the new building opens in the Titanic Quarter with nine interactive galleries. The chosen theme for this art project is Titanic Past, Present and Future. Lead Artist Jim Russell is responsible for the artistic concept and will create one final larger exhibition piece to include all the local groups artwork. We will keep you updated as the project develops but for more information visit Titanic Quarter. Or be inspired by Jim Russell’s ideas and have a go at your own scrap version of the Titanic using this Titanic Boats craft sheet.

Quit monkeying around and swing by the new display created in the Ideas Gallery! Take a free trip to the Play Resource Zoo, come and see all the 3D and 2D animal friends created from scrap materials by the Shop Team. Interested in Belfast Zoo coming to you? Then contact Belfast Zoo Education team on education@belfastzoo.co.uk.

Don’t forget you now have the option to pay for Play Resource membership and invoices by Direct Debit. Why not take advantage of this service?
