Our Artists Ambassadors Programme was launched this month as part of a year long series of events to celebrate 25 years of funding by the Arts Council of NI . Thirteen lucky artists have been invited to join the programme. These community artists have been working on Creative Paths for years making them the perfect ambassadors of Play Resource to help us spread the word to the wider community about all the creative resources and services we offer to children to young people. This forum of artists will meet regularly to help us develop our artistic resources, as well as raise the profile of their own work. Take inspiration from the latest display of artwork in the Ideas Gallery at Play Resource. The Community Arts & Crafts Training Course presents a summer exhibition of students work. See the culmination of their coursework in an exciting and diverse exhibition including self portraits, 3D sculptures – even chandeliers from found objects, and exploring fabric painting as a medium. Artist Fiona Ní Mhaoilir has an exhibition of her work showing in the Ulster Hall Group Space from 5 May to 28 May called Stratified, a collection of drawings drawn from everyday life and random events.
