Welcome to June at Play Resource! This month we are celebrating the upcoming World Cup with a new display on the Ideas Gallery, and sports themed Quick Ideas cards. All our Quick Ideas cards can now be seen on our redesigned website, and are updated regularly for your summer ideas and inspiration!

Don’t forget that Play Resource is now on Twitter – so follow us for regular updates on new scrap and shop products, Creative Paths news and additions to the web.

Art & Play Shop

Stuck for sports day ideas? Visit the Art and Play Shop for equipment and games ideas, plus don’t forget to check out our range of Hire Equipment available including Parachutes and Badge Machines, all for very reasonable prices!  The Parachute Games craft sheet is attached for helpful hints and play ideas.

Play Resource Member and artist Stacey Kilpatrick introduces a change in company name, with 'Crazy Faces' face painting becoming s.a.k. DESIGNS.

'As an established face painting company we have now expanded and are able to offer our clients an array of exciting new creative options. We offer fully insured services such as:

• face painting
• body painting
• basic face painting workshops
• glitter tattoos
• nail art
• blood n gore

We have also introduced makeup artistry to our list of skills, having graduated from the remarkable Oonagh Boman School of Makeup, covering fashion / photographic / bridal and occasion makeup.

BEAT INITIATIVE - PUPPET PICNIC

The Beat Carnival is planning the Belfast City Carnival on Saturday 19th June. This years Carnival theme is Puppet Picnic. A Carnival Puppet parade will wind through the City Centre streets finishing at Belfast City Hall where participants and puppets can enjoy an afternoon of performance and music. They are inviting groups from across Belfast and elsewhere to make puppets and take part in the event.
